Speak out get noticed.

We need leadership in America that takes action, with responsibility. We are fighting wars in Iraq, Afganistan, Pakistan. We've being threatened by a dictator in North Korea. Innocent people are being killed on the street of Iran, GM is in bankruptcy, US institutions are failing, gas prices are on the rise again. There are ponzi schemes yet unidentified, unscrupulous business people, scandals in Washington, Universal health care that is going to cost us $1.6 trillion dollars, more than what the government collects in federal withholding from each tax payer which amount to $1.3 trillion dollars.....and war is the choice of those who do not have to fight!...we have to honor our beloved Veterans.....and must feel the pain of the families who have lost son's and daughter's to the war....their lives are forever in dispair, and then you have the wounded veteran's who come home injured for life. My heart goes out to these warriors and their families. We can never forget the boys of Normandy and their legacy for freedom! We need someone to revive and restore & fight for
America. Well done is better than well said! Criticism may not be agreedable, but it is necessary. It fulfills the same function as pain in the human body. Its call are attention to an unhealthy state of things! It is no use saying we are doing our best... we must succeed in doing what is necessary and honorable in America!
Dictators cannot bully us! Today, more than ever, we need reactive minds to address and take action on the issues of our times, and one of the most urgent is... how can humanity know so much, achieve so much, and still fail so many people so badly?
In our land of plenty, we have inner cities throughout the nation living in poverty, children going to bed at night with no food in their stomach, under educated... yet we are spending trillions of dollars on war.
America cannot be the ruler of the world! Our elected officials must be held accountable for their actions! When you vote for a candidate for public office, do your due-diligence and research their backgrounds... your vote is important!
Former secretary of state James Baker 1989-1992 stated that NATO should remodel itself from military to a political alliance embracing all European and Asian nations. Sounds like a noble idea. Remember a vote is like a rifle, it's usefulness depends upon the character of the user. And finally, the words of a rough rider, former president
Teddy Rossevelt..."the men and women who really count in the world are the doers, not the mere critic. The men and women that actually do the work, even if is roughly or imperfectly, not those who only talk or write about how it ought to be done!" (1891)
Some things never change. God bless America!

Comence a conocer gente increiblemente diferente, personalidades ineditas.
Gracias...

AFreeing Up Energy
Healing What Hurts

Many of us are going through our lives aware of a well of pain underlying our daily awareness that we’ve felt for so long we aren’t even sure where it comes from. It almost seems as if it’s part of who we are, or the way we see the world, but it’s important to realize that this pain is something that needs to be acknowledged and processed. The longer we sit on it, the harder it is to work through, and the more likely it is that we will be forced to acknowledge it as it makes itself known to us in ways we can’t predict. Rather than waiting for this to happen, we can empower ourselves by identifying the pain and resolving to take action toward healing it.

The very thought of this brings up feelings of resistance in most of us, especially if, on the surface, our lives seem to be in order. It’s difficult to dig up the past and go into it unless we are being seriously inconvenienced by the hurt. The thing is, when we are carrying the burden of our unprocessed pain, sooner or later, it will inconvenience us. If we can be brave and proactive, we can save ourselves a lot of future suffering and free up the energy that is tied up in keeping the pain down.
There are many ways to do this, but the first step is to recognize the pain and honor it by moving our awareness into it. In this process, even if it’s just five minutes during meditation, we will begin to have a sense of what the pain is made of. It might be fear of abandonment, childhood abuse, anger at being mistreated, or some other long held wound. As we sit with the pain, we will also have a sense of whether we can deal with it by ourselves, or not. It may be time to work with a counselor, or form a healing circle with close friends. Whatever path you choose, resolve to go deep into the pain, so that you can release it fully, and set yourself free. Remember, it is never too late in life to heal what hurts, and there is never a better time than now.

I just finished reading Come Back: A Mother and Daughter's Journey Through Hell and Back
By Claire Fontaine

This story was great because it was written by both the mother and daughter, and every chapter was from a different perspective. It is a story about an average teenage girl who runs away from home and gets into drugs. Her mother then finds her and sends her to a camp for troubled teens. It talks about the daughter's journey to regaining her life and her mother's journey to not only get her daughter back, but to regain her own life as well. It is a true story and one of the best books I have ever read. It really made me love my mother even more knowing the sacrifices that they make for us.
One CD that never leaves my playlist is Mat Kearney "Nothing Left to Lose" just the way he sings and tells a story through each song makes me feel like he is singing to me. I went to a small venue in Fort Lauderdale to see him in concert. He really connected with the audience and made it seem like he was singing to me and only me. I am sure everyone else felt the same.
I also listen to a lot of different stuff. Hip hop and pop music like Christina Aguilera, Britney Spears, Lil' Wayne, Janet Jackson, Nelly Furtado, 50cent, and Timberlake when I am on the treadmill. I have downloaded a lot of rare acoustic versions of songs and artists like Enigma, Jeff Buckley, Damien Rice, and even deep forest when I am relaxing with my ipod. Finally, sometimes when cleaning my house on the weekend, I listen to opera. I don't know why, but it motivates me when I'm cleaning.

Un poema
Manuel Arteaga

Será que me doy por vencido?
o parte del cielo lo que pido?
Hoy me siento derrotado
de pedir y pedir estoy cansado
del tiempo perdido y de amor agotado
hoy me siento derrotado.

Doy todo de mi voluntad y esfuerzo
y siento que existe algo allí
en ese corazón aún no despierto
Pero he fallado y estoy desilucionado
