The Museum of Contemporary Art, North Miami presents Ceal Floyer’s first solo museum exhibition in the United States. Ceal Floyer uses ordinary objects to create tableaux that challenge the viewer’s perception and assumptions. Her minimal constructions are precise, visual translations of verbal expressions.

At first it seems to be a story of a wife and brother left grieving after a soldier's baffling death in Iraq, but as the layers are peeled away, we find it a tender, then shockingly raw and complex, portrait of three very different people.
